As you probably know by now, a lot of East Africa artists were scheduled to perform in Las Vegas a week ago and one of this artists is none other but Ommy Dimpoz from Tanzania. Unfortunately he didn't get to perform. As a matter of fact he didn't even manage to get to Vegas as he was arrested and deported back to Tanzania.
Rumours flew right and centre as to why he was deported and now Ommy Dimpoz has come out to speak on the matter as to why this suprising thing happened and clear his name. In an interview with Clouds FM, it was nothing but an issue with flights. His plan was to fly to Amsterdam, connect to Detroit and then connect yet again to Vegas. For one reason or another, he missed his flight to Detroit and so the next viable action was a flight connection to Minnesota.
By the time he got there, he was already one day late and thus the time he had scheduled to perform had already passed. He pushed for it to be postponed but the promoters would hear none of it. They however advocated for another show to be held in NewYork which unfortunately he couldn't perform as it was politically organised. Apparently he had to have a special kind of visa for him to perform and thus he had to be flown back home. Poor Ommy Dimpoz! On being asked why he missed on the flights however, apparently he was busy resting that he lost wind of time. Really?
